It was a total honor to have the chance to redesign this christian classic. Joni is an icon in the evangelical world and has had a thriving ministry spanning multiple decades including writing 48 books. The unique challenge with this cover project was I had to use this square photo “as is” and design around it. Going classic colors and bold type seemed to be the solution needed.
